Born in the Carolina mountains, Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen and Bar has been indulging taste buds for over 20 years with its scratch-made, southern food. From brunch to lunch to dinner, Tupelo’s recipes are simply crafted and made from scratch with responsibly sourced ingredients that bring the best of every season.
Collaborating as One Team
Our partnership with Tupelo Honey began in 2023 when they came to us for paid advertising support. After presenting a “Hot Chick Summer” campaign idea that the team loved, we developed additional creative campaign ideas and ad collateral, including still images, carousels, GIFs and videos that ran on both Google Ads and Facebook.
We met the average CPA target for all of our campaigns while bringing in over 2k table reservations throughout August and September. From this effort, our relationship grew to include additional projects and a new scope of work in support of growing Tupelo Honey’s digital presence.

Solving the Organic Traffic Conundrum
The Tupelo Honey team asked us to conduct an in-depth digital audit of their site to pinpoint a highly valuable opportunity to grow organic traffic. With deliverables including traffic analysis, a technical SEO audit and findings, keyword research and targeting strategy, and an on-site landing page audit, we were able to identify opportunity and showed additional areas of improvement to boost Tupelo Honey’s site performance and digital presence.
Elevating Tupelo’s Brand Presence From the Table to the Web
From the audit findings, we were able to create and execute monthly work plans with high-impact strategy deliverables. Some of this work included writing and implementing title tags and meta descriptions with keyword targets, landing page optimizations, and schema markup strategy.

Overall traffic increased 20% MoM Organic traffic alone grows 10% MoM, driving the overall growth together with Direct Traffic
Keyword target “bar and food near me” now ranks #6 on Google after the local map pack
Reservation page views and Confirm_Table goal completions both increase MoM, 22% and 61% respectively
Branded queries increased 18% in impressions and 4% in clicks
The menu page remains the top viewed page by organic traffic with a 14% increase to 136,177 views
Non-branded queries increased 13% in impressions and 7% in clicks
According to Google Search Console, clicks on branded terms constitute 89% of all clicks to the website, driving the overall Organic Traffic trends. MoM, we’re seeing an increase in impressions and clicks for both branded and non-branded terms with a big increase in clicks from “restaurants near me” and “breakfast near me”
