We are thrilled to see you here! Mountain Laurel Digital is looking for a curious and thoughtful marketer to join our team. In this role, you will be coordinating the details and logistics for our client work and new business efforts. You will help ensure that our internal team, vendors and clients have what they need during all stages of our partnerships. You’ll set our account and new client acquisition management apart by helping us provide a beautiful client experience - prioritizing responsiveness, attention to detail, creating special moments, transparency and empathy.
The Account and New Business Coordinator steers the ship from lead nurture to partnership kickoffs, all the way through retainer management. There is a high degree of collaboration involved in this role and you’ll work with a wide range of people. This includes sales leads, existing clients, freelancers, outsourced partners, internal team members, department leads, vendors and suppliers. The ideal candidate is an experienced account manager who is able to understand the connection of big-picture marketing strategies and all the team members and processes that make a project successful.
This position will be a balance between remote and in-person responsibilities. Due to the number and frequency of networking events and client meetings, the ideal candidate will be located in or around the Raleigh/Triangle area.
Responsibilities for Accounts and New Business Coordinator:
Meet with clients to understand their partnership goals and requirements
Develop client proposals and estimates
Build contracts and digital partnership strategies
Determine and define project or retainer scope and objectives
Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
Develop and manage a detailed work plan and timeline
Communicate project or retainer updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments and progress
Monitor progress and various departments task loads, making adjustments as needed
Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Utilize marketing best practices to create strategy and account goals throughout entire project execution
Streamline communication between internal team members through various channels such as e-mail, ASANA, virtual meetings and more.
Provide valuable insights and collaboration to owner for business strategy development

Accounts and New Business Coordinator for MLD client care and team sustainability workflow building and streaming client communication.
Coordinate our team in setting care expectations for client management and managing those marketing initiatives
Collaboratively work with our team to demonstrate excellent client care and attention
Set our account and project management apart from other agency competitors through beautiful customer service and positioning our team strongly for growth and internal harmony.

Key Requirements
Prior project management experience in agency space and/or marketing teams
Working knowledge of digital marketing practices
Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems
Excellent verbal and written communication skill
Ability to work within a team and independently
Familiarization with ASANA project management software
Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills
Bachelor's degree in business, project management, logistics, operations or a related field
2-3 years of project management and related experience
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
Proven ability to solve problems creatively
Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
Excellent analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
Operations and New Business
New business scope assistance based on previous data
